I am a Principal Engineer in charge of a team of Protection and Control Engineers. I am also the designated Engineering Manager for a framework contract with a major client in the North East/Yorkshire area. I have been with this organisation for almost three years. Groom Design Services worked for us as a subcontractor for around eight years before I joined, and I have continued to use them regularly during my time here. They have provided interface designs on numerous successful Protection and Control installation projects for various clients such as Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power. Without exception, these projects have been successfully completed to the satisfaction of myself and the client. He is an engineer with over 20 years' experience in the industry and is extremely knowledgable in his field of expertise, which is of course a huge benefit in enabling me to deliver projects with minimal risk. Chris leads a highly-skilled workforce comprising of the various tiers necessary to provide the complete engineering service, from CAD through to Interface Design and full Scheme Design. Groom Design Services also have an Installation department. Although I have not used this division myself, based on my experience with the rest of the organisation I am extremely confident in their ability to deliver the service you would require.
