Smith Brothers (Contracting) Ltd have worked with Groom Design Services Ltd for circa 4 years. Groom Design Services provide Smith Brothers (Contracting) Ltd with Consultancy, Installation, Secondary protection design and interface engineering up to and including 132kV for our ICP clients inclusive of Anesco, Lightsource and various DNO’s . These projects vary from PV farms, Wind Farms, Biomass projects and substations to be adopted by the DNO. Groom Design Services are proficient in the production of Bills of materials, telecontrol schedules, General arrangements, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and all aspects of interface design. Smith Brothers (Contracting) Ltd have employed Groom Design Services on numerous installation projects to complete works inclusive of:- exothermic welding, earth installation, protection panel installation, telecoms and scada equipment installation, fit out and commissioning of containerised substations both at Advanced Diesel (our client) and on site. Groom Design Services are a flexible and reliable company who have delivered all projects on cost and in a timely manner. Groom Design Services are currently employed by Smith Brothers (Contracting) Ltd to deliver future contestable works during 2016. Therefore I would not hesitate in recommending Groom Design Services for either Design or Installation projects.
